The secret to my clean carpets

Yes…. That is my carpet. I have 2 dogs, 4 kids, and  I live in Oklahoma, where we have red dirt. So try not to Judge too harshly. 

I don’t know if I’m crazy or if there’s other people out there that just have to have clean floors. It’s just part of me and who I am, so crazy or not. In the 18 years that I’ve been married I’ve gone through 5 vacuums and am on my 4th carpet shampooing machine. 

After trying so many machines I’ll tell you the brand I’ve come to love the most.

I really love the Shark brand! I’ve had really expensive vacuums that were supposed to last forever…. Apparently not if you’re me and use it every single day of your life… I really appreciate my affordable Shark vacuum that I got from walmart. I’ve had it for over 5 years now and it’s still going strong. The suction is amazing, the vacuum itself is light weight and easy to clean. 


The other Shark product that I love is my Shark CaretXpert carpet cleaner Like I said before, this is my 4th shampooer, I will never use another brand again! Before I get into the things I love most about this shampooer I need to tell you that I always use this solution in my Machine. For added stain removal, you can also add this oxi stain remover.

Now! Here are some reasons I will always choose Shark over any other brand that I’ve tried in the past.

1- The results! This picture was taken after going over my carpet ONCE! 

2- This machine is lightweight and so easy to maneuver. 

3-It is so easy to switch from using the hose to the regular push mode. On other machines I’ve used, you have to attach the hose. This is already attached all you have to do is flip a switch. 

4- The brush on this bad boy scrapes up any dog hair that my vacuum doesn’t pick up. It’s usually ends up spitting it out in a clump that I just pick up and throw in the garbage.


5- This is my absolute favorite thing about this machine. IT IS SO EASY TO CLEAN! The part where the dirty water is suctioned into the base, can be easily flipped open, removed and you can also remove the brushes and rinse it out at the same time. (I do this every time I use it)

Every time I use this machine I can’t help but be so happy at how clean my floors look and how fresh my house smells. 

There is only 1 Con that I can think of when it comes to this machine, and that is that since it is a light weight carpet cleaner. You do have to empty the dirty water and fill the tank more often. I can usually finish one bedroom per tank of water/solution. But for how well this machine cleans. It’s a pretty weak con.

Do Norwex Cleanser cloths really cure acne???

  I think by now Norwex has been out long enough that we have all heard of it, but just in case.... Norwex is a MLM company that has distributors who promote a more natural way of cleaning. You basically switch from using chemical cleaners in your house to using these cloths infused with "mico-silver". I'm 100% behind this idea of getting rid of harmful chemicals in our homes.
